CanadaHelps.org is a registered charity that processes secure online donations. If you click the above banner, you will be taken to the CanadaHelps.org web site. There is a 3.9% transaction fee on each donation which is deducted before the donation is sent to us. Please use the CanadaHelps.org web site if you wish to donate using a credit card as we do not accept them. Your credit card will be charged by CanadaHelps.org. Within minutes of making a donation online, you will receive an official electronic tax receipt.
If you wish to donate by cheque, you can make it out to Community Support Services of Niagara and mail it to any of our three offices (see left column). A tax receipt will be mailed to you.
100% OF ALL DONATIONS ARE USED TO HELP SUBSIDIZE CLIENTS WHO CANNOT AFFORD SERVICES. DONATIONS ARE NOT USED FOR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS.
Safety at Home
Services include:
- installation of grab bars
- home repairs or modifications
- snow removal
The program also offers falls prevention education and referrals to other services, programs and assistive devices support.

Snow Buddies
Snow Buddies give students the opportunity to be matched with a senior, helping keep their driveway/pathway clear of snow. This assistance will help prevent falls. The role of the Snow Buddies would be to make themselves available to remove snow when they are called or when there is a snowfall. The Snow Buddies program is a great opportunity for students to gain volunteer experience, receive community service hours and help out in their community.For more information about becoming a volunteer Snow Buddie call Laurie at 905-682-3800 ext. 28.
